National Park Service’s eldest active Ranger: she is 100 yrs old and going strong

Betty Soskin is still going strong as the National Park Service’s eldest active ranger, but that’s just what she focuses on today…  One of her favorite claims to fame is actually the middle school named in her honor, in the Bay area: the Betty Reid Soskin Middle School.  For the last decade and a half, she has shared her many experiences along with telling of her first hand experience with the stories of women who worked in wartime industry, including their experiences battling racism, segregation and discrimination.
