Well, it’s time for another Tuscany dish this week. It’s hard to go wrong with pasta, especially gnocchi! Many people aren’t as familiar with it because their go-to is traditional pasta, but gnocchi is actually a slightly healthier alternative than traditional white pasta which is a great perk (less carbohydrates, less flour, and less calories) – but more importantly you should try it because it’s delicious and a true example of what makes Italian cuisine so popular. The 3 most common types of gnocchi are:
- Gnocchi di Patate.
- Gnocchi alla Romana.
- Gnocchi Parisienne.
Light potato-based gnocchi is so decadent and filling, and extremely delicious with the correct pairing. Enjoy THIS DISH with spinach and sun dried tomatoes and feel free to add in more vegetables or even meats! I like to add artichokes and fresh herbs.
