#10 Summer Mocktail; Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary

Rather easily done by buying a pre-made mix, I still prefer to make all my drinks from scratch. If you do too, this one has more ingredients than the rest but it’s worth it. Using tomato juice, lemon juice, pickle or olive juice, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, hot sauce (optional), celery seed, and cayenne, this Bloody Mary mix is so good you won’t miss the alcohol. For a serving of four, use 2 cups tomato juice, ¼ cup of pickle or olive juice, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon horseradish, 1 teaspoon hot sauce, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire, and sprinkle some celery seeds and a dash of cayenne in there too. Mix it all together and pour over ice to serve. Don’t forget about the garnish! Bloody Mary’s are famous for their wild garnishes, make yours your own!

Tomato juice is heart-friendly, boosts eye health, lowers cholesterol, and rich in nutrients like vitamin C, B vitamins, potassium, and antioxidants.
