Unique Travels for Seniors, with Themes & Experts

You had me at “Spies, Lies & Intelligence: The World of International Espionage” … When I receive my email from Road Scholar, it tends to cause a brief interruption from work as I travel vicariously with my imagination of what it would be like to take one of their trips!  Their collection of 88 adventures are spanning all budgets and many states/countries, with a very wide range of themes and activity levels. You can use their filter to limit the search to a particular date range, or max budget, or activity level, etc. Some of the trips even include free airfare from select cities.

This is definitely my favorite source for Bucket List trips where you can learn from experts about a huge variety of topics and be able to relay spell-binding stories when you come home! These trips are not just about hiking, biking, ziplining, canoeing, or river rafting, or exploring cities with fabulous guides – there are also birding tips, or improving your watercolor skills beside the beautiful Delaware River, or even discovering the secrets of the lives and works of Agatha Christie and Alfred Hitchcock..

Hopefully you will send us an email and share your experiences this year – we would love to hear about your travels and favorite parts of the trip.
