Whiskey Weather!

I saw a sweatshirt  few days ago which had a phrase across the front; Whisky Weather. I went straight to a vision in my mind of sitting next to our outside fireplace with a bourbon drink in hand while the cooler weather created a thrill in me while the sun was setting.  Whether you have an outdoor fire place or not, you can cozy up to these wonderful new bourbon recipes – many of which you probably have not tried!  From a Maker’s Mark Bordeaux Sour to an Apricot Ginger Whiskey Sour to Downhill Daring, these simple but delicious recipes hail from famous bars and restaurants from Washington DC to Chicago and NYC.

Since September is National Bourbon Heritage Month (yes, seriously), it’s a great reason to launch the fall and winter seasons with your favorite Bourbon.
