If you find yourself shocked that it’s October already, join the club! Even though I can’t believe it’s here, I’m more than ready for it and now your garden will be too! This garden to-do list seems to go on forever but that’s because there’s something for all gardens – even the nonexistent ones! So whether you’re an avid gardener or a gardening beginner, this list is worth a peek. While our garden is not yet developed, and I thought there would be no point in putting forth the effort when we’re headed straight into Fall, that’s not the case. There’s plenty of Fall season plants that I can plant now and even flowers that flourish in the spring after their seeds are planted in the Fall!
If you’re convinced you can’t keep a garden without spooky dead plants littered about, there’s lots about composting and other things to do this month – mainly tidying up the home front, but also things like “throw a Fall party” or “take it all in”. I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t enjoy the Fall season, and I’m sure the pumpkin patches and apple orchards are good reasons. Personally, I cannot wait to go to a corn maze! Everyone has their favorite Fall “thing”, and if you don’t – it’s time to get one! Enjoy this To-Do list and reap the benefits from it…
